Chief Executive Officer of Old Mutual Emerging Markets Kuseni Dlamini to leave Old Mutual

Old Mutual has announced that Kuseni Dlamini, Chief Executive Officer of Old Mutual Emerging Markets (OMEM) has decided to move on from the Company to pursue other business opportunities.

Ralph Mupita, currently CEO for Emerging Markets Life and Savings will take on the role as Chief Executive Officer of Old Mutual Emerging Markets from 1 February 2012. Mr. Dlamini will remain in an advisory capacity until the end of March 2012.

 Ralph Mupita has been Chief Executive Officer for Old Mutual Emerging Markets: Life and Savings since March 2011. He joined Old Mutual in 2000 in the Individual Life business.  In 2004 he was promoted to Managing Director of Old Mutual Unit Trusts.  In 2006, he was appointed to the role of Strategy Director and led the development of several new businesses within Old Mutual South Africa as Director of New Ventures.

An engineer by training (B.Sc. Eng Hons.), Mr. Mupita obtained a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Cape Town in 2000. He is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s GMP programme, and has also attended executive programmes at London Business School and INSEAD.
