For Proof of Residence we require one of the following:

1. An original certified copy of one of the following documents, not more than 3 months old, in your own name and with your residential address indicated.
   • Utility bill
   • Current lease or rental agreement
   • Bank statement
   • Municipal rates and taxes invoice
   • Valid television license
   • Mortgage statement
   • Telkom account
   • Valid motor vehicle license
   • Insurance policy
   • Tax return
   • Correspondence from a body corporate or share-block association
   • Payslip or salary advice
2. You can submit any of the above in the name of your spouse, together with a certified copy of your marriage certificate.
3. If none of the above are available, then we will need an affidavit from a person co-habiting with you, providing:
   • The residential address, full names and identity numbers for you and your co-habitant
   • The relationship between you and your co-habitant
   • Confirmation of the fact that the physical residential address is shared
   You will need to take your affidavit to a police station to sign under oath.
